At ModernFamily by BabyShark Ultd. we have a zero waste policy when it comes to our products. But our policy is a little bit different than the standard “zero waste” that you might have heard of.
A lot of other companies have leftover materials that only go to waste, so we decided to make use of them! We are an environmentally friendly company and this is how we do it :
- Our baby mobile is made from recycled coat hangers.
- The base for the crib is made from old floor samples
- The baby mobile is powered by a power bank that in turn is powered by solar panels.
- The blanket for the baby is made from scrap fabric from clothes factories.
- The mattress is made from recycled or repurposed materials.
- The crib is so awesome that it will never be thrown away but will be passed down the generations.
- Our engineers only drink cold left-behind-coffee.
The crib itself is made from real wood and painted with a “child-friendly” paint so that if they decide to chew on it, it will not harm them. However, if they chew on the baby mobile they will be zapped out of their minds… But that’s a minor issue!
