Yes, our suitcase is smart, but even a really smart person sometimes needs to be told what to do. This is why we have created a delightfully smooth app to let you interact with your favorite travel companion. A dashboard displays the location of your suitcase (The location functionality is in progress, we haven’t taken a quick trip to San Fran…), as well as various useful information like weight, humidity and temperature. The weight is especially useful for avoiding those expensive overweight fines (in this case the owner is a very light packer). Humidity can let you know if something in your toiletries have spilled all over your stuff. Temperature could be nice if you are carrying something edible that is particularly sensible to hotter temperatures (like chocolate, who hasn’t brought melkesjokolade to a foreign country and found it transformed into chocolate sauce???).
The smart suitcase has remote controlled wheels, which are controlled in the app by moving it forward or turning it around. This is very helpful when you have long distances to travel to your airport gate, or if you just have a lot of time before your flight and want to drive it around for fun.
Are you travelling alone? Don’t worry! You don’t need a friend to take your picture when you have a smart travel companion like this suitcase! The camera is to be mounted on top of the suitcase, so that you can snap photos of yourself travelling all over the world without having to talk to strangers or dragging out that awkward selfie stick.
There is also a page for configuration stuff. Currently the only config available is changing the text of the luggage tag, but more options could be added later. The change lugga tag function is very practical if you’re moving around a lot, or if you’re sharing the suitcase with family members).
Running natively on your favorite mobile operating system, you can be sure that all communication is pretty much bullet proof, as it all passes through our Wireguard VPN.
