We had a slow start, but now this is getting intense! Our smart suit case is coming together, and we are getting more and more sensors ready. Now we have finally reached 5 different kinds.
The RFID sensor is going to be attached to a lock on the suitcase, to secure that no one other than yourself have access to your belongings.
Imagine never being able to need a luggage weight again! Four weight sensors are placed on the suitcase to provide a built in mechanism for overviewing the weight of your stuff. The weight can be viewed from inside the app.
As mentioned in a previous post, the temperature and humidity inside of your suitcase can discover spilling incidents quicker and minimize other possible damage.
Using a Nordic Thingy:52 that was handed out at last year’s Ariot, we achieved the final sensor. This thing has a bunch of sensors, and could even qualify for the sensor badge all alone. We are utilizing it mostly for the concentration level of CO2 in the air, but also for other various measurements. This sensor is a good reminder of what travelling by airplane does to our planet, and will hopefully make you think twice before deciding to travel by plane instead of by train.
