Some tasks are super intense and others even more so. Digging with a several thousand tonnes heavy excavator is extremely intense and therefor we have incorporated multiple sensors in our solution. And just to mention a few, we have:
Range sensor
Camera sensor
Temperature sensor
Touch sensor
Sound sensor
Rain sensor
Most of the sensors are mentioned in other posts, so I will just give a quick rundown of them here.
The range sensor is used in our automatic traffic sign that warns you if you get close to danger.
The camera senses its surroundings and uses AI to let the excavator know where to go.
The temperature sensor warns the workers if their surroundings are getting to hot.
The touch sensors are used to manually control most aspects of the excavator.
The sound sensor is used to trigger the warning systems if someone reports that something dangerous is happening.
The rain sensor is placed almost on the top of the digger, and in the presence of water, or rain, it will change its state and let people know that there i water in the air. This is important since wet soil is much much heavier.

Sound sensor that pick up on dangers
Camera that sees obstructions and digging targets
Cockpit camera
Touch sensors for much of the functionality
